great breakfast. location is convenient both for hiking in the center, old town, for trips from the station Part-Dieu. Next to the hotel there is an indoor market in Lyon, proudly named Paul Bocuse on its facade as a mark of undeniable top quality. It's a real gourmet Mecca. By the way, you can have lunch there - offers for every taste. room for two was small, quite comfortable. bed and pillows are exceptionally good. Price and quality seemed optimal to me.
Liked everything, no complaints. I had an improved room on the fourth floor with a wonderful view of the main street (404). room had a French balcony, narrow and long with two windows. We met the NG in Avignon, so it came in handy as a place to store food for the upcoming holiday. Oh, what products were bought at the market! In summer, I suppose it would be nice to chill on it and see fragments of the papal palace. There's a kettle in the room, tea, coffee and sugar are replenished daily. towels are changed every day. room is interestingly decorated, spacious, we had two wide beds, comfortable. There were no complaints about the plumbing, everything was great. I also praise the hair dryer, it is not fixed on the wall as it is usual in hotels - it can be used in the usual way. You can't think of a better hotel than Regina, if you think of saving money. Obviously, not 4 stars, for two - just chic. It's also in the heart of the historic part of Avignon, next to the Place de la Clock, Pontifical Palace, theatre, market and other attractions. It takes no more than 10 minutes to get to the station.

The hotel was reasonably clean with free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was rich and superb with boiled eggs, local jams plus fresh products, liked what was offered.- The location was excellent and absolutely perfect for walking around a historical palace.

excellent location is in the heart of the city, close to the station (we arrived by train and walked 10 minutes). All the sights of Avignon are in front of you. room was very spacious, it had everything you need. Breakfast wasn't very varied, atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and coffee was very tasty (apparently, chef of the restaurant knows a lot about it, is very unusual for France). kind administrator at reception, warning. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes around the hotel, several supermarkets. I definitely recommend the hotel. disadvantages are described below.
The next day, there was a stink of the shower in the room. It stank from the drainpipe of the shower cabin. They complained to the administrator and went on a tour. When he came back, he told us he'd stopped by, but he couldn't smell it - he had a runny nose, you see. But he aerated the room, and the smell really disappeared - whether the problem was resolved or not. Keep in mind, ask when you're settling in.

The hotel has a stunningly good location. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It is located in the heart of the old city: you can reach the Papal Palace in 6 minutes. Rooms, of course, standard - but we did not come to Avignon to spend time in a room, and what was needed - cleanliness, comfortable bed, comfortable bathroom - all this we got. And another silence! Our windows overlooked the empty courtyard: there was no view, of course, but we could sleep with the window open, and even at the weekend we did not hear the noise of festivities. And also, I can't help but mention separately: breakfast. The set itself is standard for Europe: meat and cheese slices, muesli-yogurt, eggs; juicy-chai coffee. But the main highlight - a great selection of jams and confitures of local production (and cheese, and buns - ah), you can arrange a real tasting in the morning (and if you like, buy a jar). The staff of the hotel is excellent, especially it would be desirable to note the employee who just had breakfasts, so in detail she told all about this wealth of jams and confitures.
One day on this trip, I noticed that hotel rooms don't like to have refrigerators. And asked not to eat in the rooms - in the infolist was added a polite explanation: not to divorce ants ... In general, an understandable requirement, it just does not suit everyone.

Great staff, great breakfast!!! , cleanliness, repair, not stone!!!! i.e. not the student floor, kettle, large TV with quality reception. Beautiful windows in the floor, French balcony, very nice, bright and comfortable room. Elevator. If you are traveling by car looking for Parking des Halles 4 minutes from the hotel is a huge relatively inexpensive 24-hour guarded parking. Wonderful sweets can be bought at the reception (pay attention to them!).
Very narrow toilet room - for miniature people. Windows overlook rue Republique, noisy at night, noisy in the morning, plus a rather uncomfortable bed. If you're asleep, stock up on brooches or are not looking for a hotel on rue Republique. The center of Avignon is tiny from anywhere all the sights inside the old town question 15 - 20 minutes.

Location - could not be better. And the people were very helpful and friendly.
Cleanliness of carpet and smelliness of corridors/room need to be worked on. Also, the chemicals used to clean are very strong or too much. It was difficult to be in the room after the cleaning, I had to leave the windows open for some time. The bathroom needs a shower curtain or a door as the floor in the toilet became wet. A rail is required to hold on to while stepping down as the floor in the toilet became wet and slippery. The bathroom step is quite high and can be risky to climb down without support. Also some hooks to hang clothes will be helpful. The long pillow was very odd but did work for me. Small details if attended to can make it much more pleasant.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean with a wide double bed. The location was good in the centre of town close to Le Palais des Papes and parking (beneath the Palais). The hotel will give you a 20% discount voucher for the parking.
We were on the second floor looking onto the main street. There was a high noise level during the night with late night traffic, then the dustbin lorries and the street washers. It was quiet again when we got up!
